Very successful public outreach event!

On Saturday 17th of March, the Rowntree and Preziosi lab groups took part in coastal ecosystems outreach event at the Museum of Science and Industry, organised by MMU's Dr Hannah Mossman. The Lophos, Acid Oceans, and Save Our Seagrass activities developed by members of the Ecological Genetics & Conservation group were on show again alongside other stands on saltmarsh and mangrove systems. The event was attended by over 900 visitors in 4 ½ hours. Feedback from visitors of all ages was positive, as well as that from the museum team, which seemed to be very pleased with the way the activities were presented!
