Chloe Helsey

I am a University of Manchester Zoology graduate currently undertaking my MPhil in the Preziosi Lab. The main focus of my research will be on the ex situ conservation of Mantella species, focusing on the Mantella cowani and Mantella madagascariensis in Madagascar. It will involve collecting environmental data in the field and applying it to ex situ conservation efforts. I am also involved in a project assessing the effect of LED lights on amphibian welfare, to establish if using LED lights in captive environments are a viable alternative to the current lights used.
