Bryozoan course in Russia

For two weeks this August, PhD student Vanessa Yepes-Narvaez was in Russia for a course on bryozoan biology. Students from Greece, Germany, Poland, New Zealand, the USA, and Colombia, gathered at the Saint Petersburg White Sea Biological Station in the Russian Polar Circle for this course. As well as gaining invaluable field and lab experience, she lectured on the course and received a certificate qualifying her to teach on bryozoans.
